Bird safe glass

Glass causes a major threat to birds due to its transparency and reflectivity. When vegetation is reflected in the glass, birds are not able to distinguish between a real tree and its image.

LEED®

Under the LEED® rating system, only projects are rated. There is no rating or certification system for raw materials or suppliers. However, Walker Glass can help users of our products, and more specifically building owners, accumulate LEED® points.

Sustainable Materials

Walker Glass Company is proud to be the only North American based manufacturer of acid-etched glass as well as acid-etched mirror and un-etched mirror to publish a third-party-verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and Health Product Declaration® (HPD®). Walker’s documents were prepared and verified by Vertima, who is an approved third party EPD/HPD® certifier.
