Anti-Corrosive
The coatings industry has moved toward chromate-free pigments that offer anti-corrosion protection without compromising health, safety, and the environment. To address these challenges, Grace engineered SHIELDEX® silica, a range of highly effective ion-exchanged pigments that are not classified as toxic and an effective replacement for pigments containing heavy metals like zinc and strontium chromate. Recommended for coatings applied to a number of different substrates including galvanized steel, zinc alloy, and galvalume, SHIELDEX® silica is used in a variety of applications including coil, general industrial, automotive, and marine systems.

Insulating Glass
PHONOSORB® adsorbents for insulating glass (IG) are specifically engineered to help maintain window quality, performance, and long-term reliability. Choosing GRACE® IG adsorbents offers peace of mind against material failure compared to cheaper alternatives that are made with clay or other materials instead of 3A zeolite synthetic molecular sieves. PHONOSORB® silica products are designed to optimize performance and longevity. They provide fogging deflection for better-insulated glass transparency and prevent moisture accumulation. This guards against material failure for years longer than less expensive alternatives.

Renewable Processing
Advanced Refining Technologies LLC (ART), a Chevron and Grace joint venture, is a leading supplier of hydroprocessing catalysts used in production of cleaner fuels. ART offers a complete portfolio of resid hydrotreating, resid hydrocracking, hydrocracking, lubes hydroprocessing and distillate hydrotreating catalyst technologies through a global manufacturing network. ART combines Chevron's extensive expertise in refining operations, catalyst technology and development, process design leadership, and licensing with Grace's materials science, specialty chemical manufacturing, and global sales and technical service strengths to improve refiners' profitability through catalytic solutions that improve the quality and yields of fuels refined from a wide variety of feedstocks.

Sustainability
Grace products and technical services improve the efficiency of our customers' processes, reduce energy and water use, cut harmful emissions, conserve material inputs, and reduce waste. Our technologies enable our customers to make products that meet the toughest environmental standards or to reformulate products to address rising consumer and regulatory expectations for sustainability, human health, and safety.
