Founded in 2002, Volterra originally manufactured and distributed specialty stucco and plaster products, along with a line of cast stone resin accent products. In 2003 they recognized and capitalized on the demand for decorative, high density polyurethane foam (HDF) building products such as faux-wood beams and planks, corbels, truss tails and shutters, tile accents and exterior details. Flexible urethane moulding was also an integral part of the product line, as Volterra was, and still is, the only manufacturer in the Southwest region producing custom radius moulding for the woodworking industry.
