United Plastics Corporation (UPC) is located in Mount Airy, North Carolina, the quaint, mountainous town that served as the inspiration for the fictional town of Mayberry on “The Andy Griffith Show.” UPC has been a mainstay in Mount Airy for more than 70 years, proudly manufacturing all of its products in its Hay Street facility using domestically sourced materials. Providing quality products and supporting America’s economy has remained a core tenet of UPC since its founding in 1946.

We are working hard to become a zero waste manufacturing facility. We already use over 80,000 pounds of recyclable material every day and will soon recycle the small percentage of waste we do produce back into new products.
