Filtration
Mirafi® G-Series drainage composites are made from high compressive strength cores and combined with nonwoven filter fabrics to provide clog resistance and long-term flow capacity. These products are ideal single-sided subsurface filters and are used to provide a consistent drainage medium for retaining walls, cut-off drains, and landfill closures.

Reinforcement
Miramesh® biaxial geosynthetics provide surface erosion protection and secondary reinforcement in MSE structures. The erosion protection facilitates establishment of vegetation and provides structural support for the forming of battered and vertical face MSE walls and over steepened slopes. The secondary reinforcement facilitates compaction and prevents surficial sloughing at the slope face.

Stabilization
Mirafi® RSi-Series geosynthetics are the premier solution for base course reinforcement and subgrade stabilization of Transportation, Building Site Development and Energy Infrastructure projects such as roadways, railways, and airports. Subgrade Stabilization is the use of geosynthetic reinforcement elements to provide constructability and access over very soft soils. Its use establishes a well-compacted non-yielding platform with uniform load support

Sustainable
TenCate Geosynthetics are used extensively in construction and remediation of environmental infrastructure projects. Through various geosynthetic applications, TenCate Geosynthetics products create and protect systems for environmentally sensitive infrastructure and remediation of existing hazardous and non-hazardous sites. These applications consist of solid waste landfill liner protection, remediation of sludge ponds, erosion control protection of steepened slopes, and dewatering of contaminate sites. The use of TenCate Geosynthetic products not only add value to the overall construction project, but also provide environmentally sustainable solutions.

About Tencate Mirafi
The North Sea Flood of 1953 launched TenCate’s quest for innovative product development. This catastrophic flood destroyed the coast of The Netherlands, leaving in its wake nearly 2,000 dead. With a strong will to survive, the Dutch immediately began work on a new generation of dike that would be strong enough to withstand nature’s harshest forces. The search ended at Nicolon B.V. of Holland, a company dedicated to creating stronger, more advanced industrial textiles. As the use of geosynthetics began to develop world-wide, TenCate was at the forefront of this expansion.
