The original Skudo System was developed in Australia to fill the need for a high quality, temporary coating system to protect finished surfaces from damages and stains during construction and remodel. Brendon Smith (Skudo USA President) first brought this innovative and unique technology to the United States, opening the first Skudo USA office and distribution in Redwood City, California in 2010. This early Skudo System was recognized by the Construction industry at the 2011 World of Concrete expo as a Most Innovative Product. While establishing distributor relationships and selling direct to contractors around the US, Smith spent the next year testing, modifying and improving Skudo’s design and application methods.
