Founded in 1929 in Vancouver, BC, Sanderson Concrete initially specialized in sumps, manholes, patio slabs, and decorative planters. In 1986, engineer Svend Arntorp joined and later purchased the company with his son Jan. By the 1990s, they expanded into bollards, picnic tables, and architectural precast. The growing divisions prompted a move to a larger North Vancouver plant in 1997.
