About Samelson Chatelane
csamelson.comIn 1974, Charles Samelson founded Charles Samelson, Inc. and began the successful journey of designing and engineering stylish fire retardant (FR) fabrics for the contract and residential marketplace. Consistent growth throughout the ‘70’s and ‘80’s led to the founding of the Chatelane division to focus on the residential jobber trade. To support this and Samelson’s ever growing Hospitality business, we expanded our warehouse in 1985, and in 1990 built a new state-of-the-art distribution and heat-transfer print facility in Spartanburg, S.C.
