In 2004, the options for alternative decking surfaces on traditional decks and rooftop terraces was limited. Architects, contractors and homeowners had few options beyond wood, composites or heavy slab pavers or problematic mud-set thin-set stone or tile. Into that void was birthed a concept that would allow maximum creativity with surface finishes over the maximum variety of application conditions. The result of this 10 year journey are the current system components that meet both the sophistication of the architectural community, the dependability of the contractor trades but also the simplicity of the DIY customer.
