Murphy Company is a leading North American manufacturer of high quality commodity and value-added engineered wood products. Founded in 1909, Murphy is among the oldest family-owned forest products companies in the United States. We began as a lumber manufacturing business, but over the past century and more have been involved in logging and log merchandising, veneer manufacturing, softwood and hardwood plywood production, and engineered wood product manufacturing. Today, Murphy Company, headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, owns and operates six facilities—a hardwood plywood mill in Eugene; veneer plants in White City & Foster, Oregon and Elma, Washington, a softwood plywood mill in Rogue River, Oregon, and a laminated veneer lumber facility in Sutherlin, Oregon. Strategically located, the mills provide production synergies that serve customers’ needs for reliable supply and consistent product quality.
