Since 1985, MG McGrath, Inc. has been an award-winning leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of architectural surfaces in the commercial construction industry. Performing work in the 48 contiguous United States, we specialize in custom architectural exterior enclosure systems.

Construction

Construction at M. G. McGrath, Inc. includes both shop fabrication and field installation. We are a union contractor committed to delivering unparalleled creative solutions on every project, whether simple or complex, and ensuring architect’s designs as well as owner and contractor expectations are met in the final product. We perform work in the 48 contiguous United States and have expertise working safely and efficiently in nearly every climate, season, and weather condition.

Preconstruction

At MG McGrath, preconstruction services include all activities prior to fabrication and installation. In our experience, roughly ½ of the time it takes to execute the façade scope on a project is spent in preconstruction, with the other half split between fabrication and field installation. This is why we place such a high degree of importance on it. We believe in being true partners and setting the project and all stakeholders up for success by taking a proactive approach. We do this by leveraging our vast experience as not only a custom fabricator and installer of complex façade systems, but by putting together an expert team including estimators, PMs, VDC personnel, engineers, and field superintendents to take a wholistic approach.

Retrofits and renovations

Retrofits and renovations can be a great option for upgrading a look or system without compromising historical authenticity, adapting an existing building for a different use, or simply just to get a building refresh where budgets or timelines are tight. Buildings with good structural bones but outdated systems and exteriors can be upgraded to meet modern codes and requirements, and to increase commercial value, comfort, functionality, and environmental performance.
