Fire rated

MapeStop fire-resistant panels are the ideal solution for fire-rated glazing applications. Class A rated (per ASTM E84), MapeStop panels can be custom designed with various substrates/insulation to meet any applicable design requirements and building codes including IBC and NFPA 285. Suitable for applications from side lites and transoms to high-rise construction.

Impact Resistant

Mapes Panels has developed a large-missile and bullet impact resistant line of laminated panels for use in curtain wall, storefront and window applications where design elements require high impact/high load materials. This unrivaled product, with a Class D Impact Rating, has received formal Florida Product Approval with certification #FL32414. This approval signifies that the product meets the most stringent impact/hurricane resistance criteria and is suitable for use in high velocity hurricane zones (HVHZ).

The Mapes SuperShade line offers passive sun control products that can be used to manage the impact of solar gain on any building. For projects that can benefit from reduced solar impact, these are versatile, economical design options and can be used in any passive solar condition.
