Kalwall Corporation
For over 70 years, Kalwall has been the daylighting authority for the building and architectural industries. Our proprietary translucent FRP sandwich panels produce perfectly diffuse, museum-quality daylighting™ solutions with exceptional thermal performance that is virtually maintenance-free. Utilizing best-in-industry daylighting and thermal technology, Kalwall’s custom-engineered products promote both sustainability, occupant well-being and thermal efficiency while eliminating solar heat gain, glare and hotspots.
Kalwall is lightweight and shatterproof with unrivaled structural integrity that is far superior in performance and value to other products. Our superior spans save cost in support structure and allow monumental daylighting applications. Our modular, factory-assembled and unitized systems allow for rapid installation with fewer trades needed on-site – also saving time and money.
For windborne debris protection, Kalwall offers both Hurricane High Impact (HHI) translucent systems as well as fixed / operable windows rated up to large missile D.
Our facades, skylights, skyroofs and canopies are found in a variety of markets including: education, healthcare, transportation, infrastructure, military, commercial/retail, cultural, hospitality, manufacturing + industrial and residential.

1. Perfect Daylighting
There's a lot to think about when you're daylighting: visible light transmittance (VLT), diffusion, glare, color rendition, occupant comfort and wellness. The right daylighting strategy takes all of this into consideration to create a healthy space.

2. Energy Efficiency
Kalwall is the most highly insulating, diffused-light-transmitting technology available. With thermal performance that can match that of a solid wall and solar heat gain coefficients as low as .04, Kalwall significantly lowers HVAC loads and electric costs—putting you well on your way to meeting any energy efficiency goals.

3. Lightweight Materials
Stronger, lighter, more efficient. Our custom-engineered composite materials transcend the properties of their more basic counterparts, such as glass and polycarbonate or other lookalike FRP systems. Our standard Kalwall panels weigh < 2 lb/ft2 | 9.8 kg/m2. Typical glass is about three times this weight. Lightweight panels enable larger spans to reduce structural needs, lower overall installation cost and minimize time and manpower on site.

4. Safety + Code Compliance
Stand up to the extreme with Kalwall. Our panel system's provide occupants with privacy and meet many code requirements when it comes to fire, wind, blast and more.

5. Worldwide Availability
The products are available worldwide and ship internationally as well.
