Hempitecture is a Public Benefit Corporation with a focus on the most sustainable building materials on the planet. Our building materials benefit both people and the planet because they are derived from carbon capturing, agricultural industrial hemp, a non-toxic renewable feedstock. Our primary product is HempWool® insulation, a natural fiber batt insulation product. We intend to be continually innovative, and therefore, are always considering developing new products, new ideas, and new partnerships.

About the Brand
Carbon Capturing
Hempitecture products are positioned as carbon-negative or low-carbon alternatives to conventional insulation. Industrial hemp is a rapidly renewable feedstock with the capacity to sequester approximately ~9 tons of CO₂ during one growing season.
Phase Shift / Thermal Inertia
Hempitecture products have impressive thermal inertia, storing heat and slowing temperature transfer. The average density of the friction-fit insulation HempWool is ~2.5 lb/ft3 allowing for higher heat storage capacity.
Beneficial for Health
Hemp-based insulation improves occupant health by eliminating irritants and toxins found in traditional insulation. Hempitecture products are USDA Certified Biobased Products, VOC and Red-List chemical free.

Vapor Permeability
