In 2009, Drexel Metals Inc. was formed as a successor company; and two years later, acquired custom fabricator Met-Fab Manufacturing to further provide architects, designers, contractors and engineers with an expansive offering of inspiring products and artisan skills. Drexel Wall Series architectural panels combine elegance with bold, modern sophistication, are cost-effective and sustainable. Our expertly crafted panel products are ideally suited for a wide range of applications including walls, roofs, linear panels and work with nonresidential or residential projects.

Fade Resistance

Fade Resistance

PVDF is composed of alternating carbon-hydrogen and carbon-fluorine bonds, it lends the highest resistance to UV exposure, oxidation, humidity and extreme temperatures of any resin to its metal roofing system. No matter the color, PVDF offers superior fade resistance.

Sustainable

Sustainable

Drexel Metals uses recycled metal our roofing components, which are themselves recyclable at the end of their life. Drexel also offers state-of-the-art photovoltaic laminates that can be applied to your roof’s surface to capture solar energy to reduce your electric bills. Sustainable materials and UV reflective pigments help to reduce cooling costs and achieve LEED credits.

Weather and Impact resistance

Weather and Impact resistance

SMP may be a more economical choice when roofing an industrial building, where aesthetic concerns are secondary to impact resistance. PVDF does provide resistance to harsh weather including UV exposure and extreme temperatures. While it does have superior color stability, it can have a lower impact resistance than SMP.
