About Denon

denon.com
Founded in 1910 by Frederick Whitney Horn as Japan's first-ever audio equipment company, Denon built its foundation on the Japanese values of honesty, pride and quality craftsmanship. In 1945, Denon invented Japan's first professional-use disc recorder and made the first-ever recording of Japan's Emperor Hirohito. In 1951, Denon became the first to record and sell LP records, continuing its legacy of audio innovation.
