ARCO Concrete, Inc started as Intermountain Precasters April 1st, 1986 making one product, the roof paver. Founded by Russ and Tammy Carr with its first location in Commerce City, ARCO soon adopted other products including splash blocks and wheel stops. In 1989, ARCO began expanding into custom architectural products and acquired the name ARCO Concrete, Inc. Their first custom job that year was producing custom parapet cap for the Orowheat/Entenmann's building in Denver. In 1997 ARCO Concrete, Inc moved to Ft. Lupton and built a new production facility that would allow them to better serve the construction industry with commercial and residential products.
