Ledra Brands’ history is rooted in lighting innovation, beginning in 1985, when Jochen Bruck developed the 12V cable system. In 1993, Alex Ladjevardi introduced Bruck Lighting to the North American market, followed by Bruck’s first commercial LED installation on the Madison Street Bridge in Chicago in 1996. The company expanded its portfolio with architectural recessed downlights in 2000 and began designing, engineering, and manufacturing its products in California during the 2000s. In 2015, Ledra Brands launched Alphabet Lighting’s innovative architectural luminaires and continues to advance lighting through new technologies, thoughtful design, and sustainable innovation.
