A common misconception about using spray foam insulations in roofs is that doing so will either increase the likelihood of roof leaks or mask them, leading to more extensive damage.  In debunking this myth, this course describes the general approaches to managing moisture in attics, why a designer might want to consider spray foam insulation, and alternative approaches to insulating roofs.
